NJPW Best of the Super Juniors – Update

After the first set of matches in the Best of the Super Juniors Tournament the following matches have taken place from Block A:

  • Rocky Romero def. David Finaly
  • Gedo def. Bushi
  • Ryusuke Taguchi def. Matt Sydal
  • Kyle O’Reilly def. Kushida

The biggest match was a rematch of last years finals with Kyle O’Reilly avenging his last years loss in the finals to Kushida as the two top stars in Block A squared off, with one minor shocker in this first set of matches, with Gedo defeating Bushi. Block B is set to square off soon.

Standing looks as followed:

Block A

  • Rocky Romero -2
  • Gedo -2
  • Ryusuke Taguchi -2
  • Kyle O’Reilly -2
  • Kushida -0
  • Matt Sydal -0
  • Bushi -0
  • David Finaly -0
