After Night 4 of the Best of the Super Juniors tournament, Block B was on display and looks like Ricochet is the favourite to pull out of this block and into the finals, after another win, this time over ROH TV Champion Bobby Fish who seems to be struggling in this tournament unlike his tag partner Kyle O’Reilley is doing over in Block A. The legend Jushin Thunder Liger proving that the old man may have one more run at the IWGP Junior Heavywight title. Block B results:

  • Volador Jr. def. Tiger Mask IV
  • Jushin Thunder Liger def. Chase Owens
  • Ricochet def. Bobby Fish
  • Trent Baretta def. Will Ospreay

Updated Block B Standings:

  • Ricochet – 4
  • Jushin Thunder Liger – 4
  • Barettta – 4
  • Volador Jr. – 2
  • Chase Owens – 2
  • Bobby Fish – 0
  • Will Ospreay – 0
  • Tiger Mask IV – 0

The next set of matches for Block A on May 25:

  • Matt Sydal (2) vs Gedo (2)
  • Kyle O’Reilly (4) vs Bushi (0)
  • Kushida (0) vs David Finaly (0)
  • Ryusuke Taguchi (4) vs Rocky Romero (4)

Next set of matches for Block B on May 27:

  • Tiger Mask IV (0) vs Chase Owens (2)
  • Bobby Fish (0) vs Baretta (4)
  • Jushin Thunder Liger (4) vs Volador Jr. (2)
  • Ricochet (4) vs Will Ospreay (0)

This next set of matches for each block have some interesting bouts in them especially the match between Ryusuke Taguchi and Rocky Romero as both men are 2-0 and the winner will sit a top Block A possibly along side O’Reilly who is also tied a top that block. Kushida may face his chance to pull him into possible contention in Block B as he champ is winless but is going up against David Finaly who also has yet to record a win in this tournament. It will be interesting to see if Liger can keep winning as he eyes to keep himself sitting a top Block B as he has some tough competition as he sits tied with one of the favourites in the whole tournament Ricochet, who faces a winless Will Ospreay, as well as Baretta, who does battle with a winless Bobby Fish.

Another Update Tomorrow following the Block A matches.
