Match Card:

  • Jay Lethal vs Tetsuya Naito
  • Hangman Page vs Kyle O’Reilly
  • Dragon Lee vs Kamaitachi
  • The Addiction (C) vs Motor City Machine Guns vs The Young Bucks – ROH Tag Team Championships
  • The Briscoes & Toru Yano vs ACH & Kushida & Jay White – 1st RD Six Man Tag Team Championship Tournament
  • Bobby Fish (C) vs Donovan Dijak w/ Prince Nana – ROH TV Championship
  • Adam Cole (C) vs Michael Elgin – ROH World Championship

Jay Lethal vs Tetsuya Naito:

Both men have lost their world titles over the last few months and both are wanting to get back to the top of their respective companies. This match came about when Naito and Evil both left Lethal to fight the Bullet Club by himself before Lethal was helped out by Elgin and Kyle O’Reilly  . This match should be one of the best of the night with in my belief seeing Naito going over as the winner. This might be shocking but who knows what will happen with the possibility of Los Ingobernables de Japón  interference. Prediction: Tetsuya Naito

Hangman Page vs Kyle O’Reilly:

This match will be a tough one to call as both are at the op of their respective games especially Hangman Page, who at their last PPV went all in vs Jay Briscoe and shown he can truly compete with the best in Ring of Honor. Kyle O’Reilly is hungry and I am surprised he was not given first crack at Adam Cole’s ROH World Championship, but his hatred for Cole and the Bullet Club is what I believe is going to project him to win this contest should Bullet Club be kept at bay like they did when Page fought Briscoe and Cole vs Lethal. But O’Reilly is near a world title shot so I feel it is best if he is the one emerging victorious. Prediction: Kyle O’Reilly

Dragon Lee vs Kamaitachi:

With the recent addition of the CMLL-ROH relationship we see the young Dragon Lee make his ROH debut against Kamaitachi. Kamaitachi has done very well in his short time in ROH thanks in part to his friendship with the Addiction, but with them focusing on their tag titles defense Kamaitachi might be on his own to fight the young Mexican star. Especially since it is Dragon Lee’s debut and the relationship with CMLL is brand new I expect Dragon Lee to be victorious and am expecting a good match as both men are capable of it, as well they have a history of matches back when Kamaitachi fought for CMLL. Prediction: Dragon Lee

The Briscoes & Toru Yano vs ACH & Kushida & Jay White – 1st RD Six Man Tag Team Championship Tournament:

This match draws my hatred for ROH to have a six-man tag team title, but the addition of Kushida instead of Lio Rush helps this match, and the young guns are looking to prove themselves against the big bad veterans by taking on the inaugural NEVER 6-Man Tag Team Champions in the Briscoes and Toru Yano. This is tough to see where ROH goes with this but I think the Briscoes and Yano will man up and win this opening match which could be great. Prediction: The Briscoes & Toru Yano

Bobby Fish (C) vs Donovan Dijak w/ Prince Nana – ROH TV Championship:

I really feel this match will not end up being hat good because of the mish-mash of styles. I really hope to see Dijak win this match as I see more upside with the younger up and comer as champion, and there is just something that I just cannot get behind with Fish as a singles champion. Ultimately I do not see Fish’s reign as being that exciting of or great so far despite matches with Mark Briscoe and Dalton Castle, so giving an athletic power house the strap would make sense to me and let some of the new blood keep the company going. Prediction: Donovan Dijak

Adam Cole (C) vs Michael Elgin – ROH World Championship:

This match I think is pretty predictable to predicted as the recently crowned ROH World Champion and Bullet Club member should be set up for a lengthy run as champion as most ROH champs are, and as Michael Elgin is a NJPW star, and no longer the ROH star it is a nice filler match until ROH breaks out the inevitable Adam Cole vs Kyle O’Reilly. I expect to see a hard fought match and should be interesting to see how Cole is able to take the big man down, and survive his strength but the match will end with Adam Cole leaving as champion. Prediction: Adam Cole

The Addiction (C) vs Motor City Machine Guns vs The Young Bucks – ROH Tag Team Championships:

This is the scheduled main event and I can see why as it will be hard to top this match with three exciting tag teams in a ladder match for the tag team titles. This match really could be anyone’s to win as all three teams are viable champions for ROH, but personally I would love to see the boys of MCMG walk away but sadly I do not expect that to happen. I am willing to say especially with Adam Cole as world champion, and with the 6-man tournament for the ROH 6-Man Championships, we will see The Young Bucks walk away with the tag titles in Lowell. I expect this match to be the best and most exciting on the card and I cannot wait to watch this match in particular. Prediction: The Young Bucks
